Through Ilashe Farms, she is scaling coffee, macadamia, beans, and other crops across Eldoret, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Kerio Valley, while also running a certified nursery producing Ruiru 11 and Batian seedlings. Her focus on innovation and value addition aims to strengthen the coffee value chain and open new market opportunities, with a strong commitment to women’s leadership in agriculture. Through Ilashe Connect, Sheila offers advisory and consulting services across Africa and beyond, guided by her bold philosophy: “If it can be done, and we can connect you — we will.” Beyond Ilashe, Sheila serves as Executive Director of Sustain Africa, where she leads private sector engagement and partnerships supporting the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Health Action Plan and the Nairobi Declaration, helping transform agriculture across the continent.
